The practice nurses are available by appointment only, Monday – Friday. The nurses have many skilled duties and our receptionists can advise you whether to make an appointment with the nurse or doctor with regards to these aspects of your care.
Assistant Practice Manager
Our reception staff will assist you in making urgent and routine appointments to see your doctor or nurse, undertake repeat prescription requests, generally support the doctors in the day-to-day operation of the practice and offer help and assistance at all times.
The District Nursing Team is responsible for giving nursing care, support and advice to those people suffering acute, long-term and terminal illnesses, both in their own homes and within residential care. They can be contacted via One Call on 01903 254789.
The role of the Health Visiting Team is to improve public health by working with individuals, families and communities. In this surgery, the main focus of their work is families with children from birth to 5 years.
Development assessment/health promotion is offered to all children. Please arrange the 6-week mother and baby appointment with your GP. Further developmental checks will be with the Health Visitor at: 3 months, 10 months and 2 years, with questionnaires sent out at 3 years.
Post-natal and baby clinics are held at the Family and Children Centre, North Road, Lancing.
